UNICEF has adopted five key strategies to accelerate change and improve lives of adolescents and their families. Intrinsically linked, these strategies include adolescent participation; community engagement and mobilisation; continuum of investments in education and life skill development; linkages to skill development, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities and social plus protection programme. These strategies will work in a conducive social, policy and legal environment.
